Walking away here everyday – I walk at a speed setting of 1.0 – 1.2 mostly and log 3.5 – 4.0 miles/day on average. It’s just a function of how many damn meetings I have to attend. No meetings and it’s a 5-6 mile day. My back feels great, I’m playing a full schedule of tennis (4-5x/wk) and have dropped 15lb with 15 to go to target. It’s interesting, people have very positive comments to make about the desk but no one is stepping up to get one yet. Kind of … look at all the benefits of not smoking – people don’t quit – usage remains entrenched in our society. A local news channel just ran a program on the health harms of sitting targeted at children – active lifestyle (office included) gets more traction by the day.
